Resident’s Report: Mallorca Rocks with Chase & Status / Dot Rotten

Every week we’ll be asking our new Resident DJ Sicarius to give us a taste of what it’s like to DJ at the world famous Mallorca Rocks gigs.

Tuesday was a really good gig. I felt so privileged to be able to play the warm up slot. I had seen Chase & Status’ awesome DJ sets before, but I was particularly excited to see them live!

Dot Rotten took the stage immediately after me. They were not only great performers but also super friendly guys.

Doorly was back to rock Mallorca for this gig, and his set did not disappoint. Not only is he great at speaking to the crowd, he is also not afraid of taking risks and jumping from genre to genre.

By the time Doorly finished and Nicola Bear took over the decks, the place was rammed! Everywhere people were having fun and dancing to Nicola’s infectious tunes while enthusiastically anticipating Chase & Status.

MC Rage finally came on stage followed by the band, and their performance was incredible. Everybody went absolutely crazy, jumping around and dancing non-stop until the very end of the show.
